This beautiful mochila took 30 days to make by hand. The reason being is it is a single stitch mochila and so it takes twice as long to make compared to the regular double stitch mochila. The Wayuu women make the bottom of the mochila, while the men make the straps. Each mochila is a unique piece of art that is not replicated.
